Pick one up and the weight is the first thing you notice — dense, hand-finished ceramic with real heft in the hand.

Lily of the valley is applied by hand across each piece, the edges are scalloped, and the rim is darkened to look worn rather than new. They mix easily with plain white plates and with the rest of our ceramics, which is how a table like this usually gets built: nothing matching exactly, everything belonging together.

It suits an everyday table that isn't a matching set, open shelving where plates are on show, and a couple setting up a kitchen.

Note: the uneven darkened rim is intentional, and hand-applied patterns vary slightly between pieces.
